On Monday we headed to Birmingham to set-up our booth ready for our first ever exhibit at the NEC. "Solar & Storage Live represents the entire renewable industry covering solar, storage & renewables across all sectors. It is a meeting place, market place, educational & debating forum, networking & social hub for the solar & renewables industries".
The show began on Tuesday morning and before we could get a coffee and prepare ourselves, at 9am visitors descended upon our booth to discuss their solar panel cleaning requirements. Many conversations were had on how, why and where we clean solar panels.
We spoke to a wide variety of people over the 3 days, from installers and O&M contractors, to local authorities, private solar pv owners, utility companies and consultants. Interest in our services has been generated from all corners of the UK, to as far a field as East Africa.
The show provided a platform for some excellent private networking to be had with leaders within the industry. Our services were featured on page 11 of the solar and storage newspaper on day 2, which was the busiest of the 3 days.
Work has already been booked in, quotes are being generated and site visits start tomorrow
With the UK poised to remain the biggest solar market in Europe despite policy changes, come and visit the NEC in 2018 for the next Solar show! You might just see us there!
