At the UK's largest energy port, which is also Wales' busiest cargo port, it boasts 26 commercial solar PV roof top systems, 1 solar farm, and a total of 22,878 solar panels. We are delighted to have been awarded the 5-year cleaning contract to support the port in the maintenance of their entire solar PV portfolio.
As a result of their investments in solar energy, the port has been a carbon neutral operation for the last three years. The solar farm alone saves over 1,800 tonnes of carbon emissions, which is equivalent to taking 267 cars off the road and creates enough energy to power over 1,000 homes.
The port is committed to establishing a substantial presence in the renewable energy industry and we are proud to be selected as their principal contractor for solar panel cleaning.
